Happy Mother's Day!

Mothers and mother-figures are indispensable. They are likely the first people we ever know when we enter the world, and they love and care for us as we grow up. It is a day that makes people remember the importance and significance of mothers in their lives and is observed as a day to emphasize the motherly figures around the world.

To celebrate this day at the soup kitchen, I volunteer. I went down to Costco to treat all clients to the undeniable great meal we have been getting from Costco. Rotisserie Chicken and Apple Pie; with Green Beans, and Mashed Potatoes from the soup kitchen.

I also got the idea of a nice little gift for all of the women who stopped in for food! I got a transparent cube, and I put in chocolates with confetti and a lovely flower! I got the idea from scrolling on Amazon.com!

There’s no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one.
